AYSO Area 10S

AYSO Area 10S is pleased to announce that is holding tryouts for a Girls U16 Extra team at Castaic Middle School on May 23, 29 and June 1 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Registration begins at 5:00 PM.  The school is located 28900 Hillcrest Parkway, Castaic, CA 91384. Tryouts are open to all interested girls who were been born between August 1, 1996 and July 31, 1998. The players are encouraged to attend as many tryout dates as possible. Please bring a completed EAYSO registration form. Blank forms will be provided for those who do not have online access. Players who were not registered for the 2011 Fall season will be required to pay a $15 fee to cover insurance.

The team will be competing against teams located in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. It is expected that the team will play 10 to 12 league games and participate in a League Cup at the end of the season. The season and League Cup will be completed prior to the start of CIF high school season. The team will be encouraged to participate in pre season and spring AYSO tournaments.  The program is designed to keep the costs of participation significantly lower than the cost of participation in a Club program. There will be an information meeting at 5:30 each tryout date for those parents desiring more information.

AYSO Extra is a competitive soccer program designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities and to enhance each player's experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit, organization and six philosophies of AYSO:
